Creating Change-Capable Teams
In March 2020, the health center I led as CEO separated from the county government to become a private non-profit.
Previous CEOs had dreamed of this change but avoided it because they didn’t think the staff could handle it.
Not only did we handle it, but we retained 94% of our staff, grew exponentially, and responded to a global pandemic AT THE SAME TIME.
So, how did we do this? These changes for our health center were successful because I intentionally created change-capable employees. I worked hard to earn their trust and buy-in, and in turn, they adapted and embraced these changes with excitement rather than resistance.
Change is constant, especially in healthcare, and getting our teams to be adaptable and flexible with change is one of the most complex parts of being a good leader.
Successfully leading teams and organizations through change requires creating change-capable employees who can move from fear and resistance to change to accepting and embracing it much faster than they have in the past.
In the Leadership Academy, I’ll teach you how to:
âś… Understand the psychology of change and how it affects employees
âś… Equip your teams with the tools to move from resistance to excitement
âś… Lead through transitions with confidence, whether it’s rebranding, scaling up, or facing global challenges
If you are a leader who wants to create change-capable teams, you won't want to miss this section of the Leadership Academy!
